We are female owned and managed—fully licensed, bonded, and insured—both as an individual auctioneer, and as an auction company. With 20 years of experience in online sales and appraisal, and after apprenticing as an auctioneer for three years with Great Lakes VNTG, our lead auctioneer and owner, Sherri, has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in conducting professional and successful auctions, evaluating your property thoroughly to determine its fair market value, and marketing that property through our various marketplace options; including, but not limited to, the Great Lakes VNTG website, live auctioneers, various collector websites, and occasionally sites such as Chairish or Christie’s. All of our efforts, and the contacts we maintain across all genres in the auction world, only serve to get you the highest profit possible. We live to thrill you!
Our specialty is a complete, start to finish estate liquidation. Starting with a personal property auction, cleaning out and cleaning up your home, and ending with a live real estate auction. Everything is handled and managed by us. Imagine the phone calls you won’t have to make, and all the time you won’t spend waiting for the cleaners or the painters to show up. You may have seen that most of our online auctions are hosted by Great Lakes VNTG, rather than a large corporation like HiBid. Therefore, one of the first things you might notice is our friendly and efficient customer service. Emails and inquiries are answered in a timely manner, and any issues are handled personally by one of our staff members, and ultimately to your satisfaction.
Going with a smaller business was a conscientious choice for us. Over the years we’ve watched corporate prices go up, and the level of service go down, and recently the increase in fees on some of the larger sites has made dealing with them cost prohibitive for buyers and sellers alike. Our fees will never go up, and our shipping prices are some of the most reasonable you will ever come across. That being said, we do not automatically ship, so please contact us if shipping is something you require. We do not ship large buy-outs, large lots of dishes or glasses, or any item deemed too fragile or heavy for shipping.
We hope you will support our decision to reject allowing any corporate control to interfere in our business, thus allowing us to keep fees and costs to a minimum. We also hope you will notice the carefully curated auctions we create, and the one thing that truly sets us apart—our transparency and honesty. If we happen to sell anything with flaws or chips (which is very rare), we do our level best to to disclose and picture anything that might cause you to be unhappy with your purchase. We do not allow shill bidding, nor any illegal or nefarious bidding practices. We run an honest auction house, and all we ask is that you extend the same courtesy to us. If there is a problem, we’ll solve it—we promise.
